I have been privately cooking for 6 years on the East coast and now here on the West coast for the past 7 years. I have worked exclusively with private clients throughout southern California that have been healing from cancer as well as healthy clients that would just like help in the kitchen. I was trained in Macrobiotic balancing and food preparation at the Kushi Institute in MA, where I managed the cooking classes and ran my own dessert shifts every week.  Currently I live in San Diego, where I run my own private cooking/education business and am working on a dessert cookbook.  I do travel for classes and consider live-in positions as far North as Los Angeles.

I specialize in healing macrobiotic cooking and remedies, but also do gourmet vegan, vegetarian, whole food menus with some fish dishes, if desired. I don't wish to work with eggs or dairy (but can if desired), and have many menu ideas where they are never even missed. I refuse to use cane sugar or chemical sugar replacements in any of my desserts, only natural, little-if-any processed sweets from fruits, plants,and grains. I also support the organic food movement and only prepare with the best ingredients.
